Overview
Mindfull is an app that helps you build a healthier relationship with food by encouraging mindfulness during meals, tracking emotions, and understanding eating habits. Users can upload meal photos, share emotions with emojis, discover articles, and explore recipes.
The Problem
With an overwhelming amount of information and apps related to food logging, users often struggle to maintain mindful eating habits. Most apps focus on calorie counting, which can feel impersonal and mechanical. Users also lack a social element that encourages them to share and feel connected to others in their food journey. Additionally, there’s no seamless way to track their progress or plan meals in a way that feels engaging and motivating.
The Solution
Mindfull redefines food logging by blending mindful eating with a social experience. Users can log meals through photos, descriptions, and emotions, adding a personal touch with emojis. A social feed encourages engagement through likes, comments, and recipe sharing, while an interactive calendar and progress tracker help users build a balanced, intentional relationship with food.

Competitive Analysis
Competitors like YouAte, MyFitnessPal, and Noom focus on calorie tracking or rigid structures, lacking emotional tracking alongside meal entries. Few offer real-time social engagement or personalized progress features, which are key for fostering long-term balance and healthy eating habits.

I conducted a user interview with Vivian Le, a 21-year-old UX designer, who is focused on adopting healthier eating habits despite her busy schedule. She expressed the need for a simple, efficient way to track meals and emotions. Her feedback will help inform the design of an app that supports users in maintaining balance and mindfulness while navigating their hectic lives.
