Overview
As a design intern, I collaborate closely with the team to develop and implement a social media strategy that combines engaging visuals with relatable financial advice, tips, and stories. By designing graphics that resonate with a diverse demographic aged 20-45, we aim to strengthen our connection with followers, encourage meaningful interactions, and drive community growth. Our efforts have resulted in a 50% increase in engagement, reflecting the impact of our collaborative approach.

Over the last 90 days, the updated social media strategy, and content led to a significant 53,252 accounts reached, with a notable 2,534% increase from non-followers, expanding the audience beyond the existing follower base.

GOBankingRates faces the challenge of increasing engagement on its social media platforms and aims to connect deeply with its diverse audience. They strive to create relatable and authentic organic content that resonates with their target audience while refining their brand's tone of voice. Their current content strategy, while informative, has not consistently achieved the level of engagement needed to foster a strong and loyal online community.

Working closely with the creative team, I designed graphics and social media templates for the GOBankingRates social media platforms. My focus is on providing helpful and educational financial content aimed at our diverse target audiences. The goal is to foster a stronger connection with our followers, encouraging more meaningful interactions and driving community growth.
2. Most Money Influential Women
The "Most Money Influential Women" refers to a list of the most trusted and sought-after female financial experts in America, as identified by GOBankingRates. This recognition highlights women who have made significant impacts in the financial industry through their expertise, advice, and influence.
Creating the Social Media Strategy
I collaborate with the creative and social media team to develop and execute strategic social media plans for the MMIW series. 3. ‘What the Why’ Podcast
In this project, I collaborate closely with the podcast, social, and creative teams to create visually engaging assets for the launch of GOBankingRates' second podcast, ‘What the Why’. My role involves designing a landing page, social media brand assets, and content creation that aligns with GOBankingRates' identity, ensuring a modern, fun, and exciting appearance. The podcast delves into the "why" behind our financial decisions, taking you on a financial learning journey with the two GBR hosts.

Our approach emphasizes user-centered design principles, ensuring that the kit is intuitive, engaging, and informative. We prioritize transparency and accessibility in our materials, reflecting Go Banking Rates' commitment to empowering consumers with clear financial information.
